PDF File Merger Splitter is a PDF document manager that allows you to split, merge, and delete any given set of pages and/or documents in a single operation. You can select any number of PDF files and use a wide range of filters and settings to create a series of fully customized new PDF documents. It includes batch capabilities, and its performance speed is one of its main assets.

This three-in-one application will allow you to create PDF documents by combining specific pages, ranges of pages, or full documents into one. Likewise, you can extract or delete individual pages and/or ranges of pages to create separate documents for easier distribution. The combinations are endless. You can define completely different ranges of pages for each document, as well as a set of specific page numbers to go with them. On top of this, you can decide to apply these settings to just the even or the odd pages of the listed documents.

This versatile functionality can be applied in different ways depending on the tab selected, which may sometimes be a bit confusing. Though its one-screen interface makes it easy to move around the different options, the fact that the same operation can be performed by selecting different settings located in different places may be a bit difficult to grasp for the novice user. The texts in the help file do not help much either, as they are identical when describing the functionality performed by different tags. All in all, the program performs what it says it does in a reliable and fast way, though, for the sake of clarity and usability, both the terminology used for each available function, and the way these are distributed along the interface offer margin for improvement.
